Your initial appointment will be for 90 minutes. This provides Dr. Sethi a good amount of time to explore your situation in depth. It will help him to decide with you what the best treatment approach going forward would be. Dr. Sethi will take a thorough, comprehensive medical and psychiatric history. He will address your problems and concerns, and discuss with you various treatment modalities appropriate for your situation utilizing pros and cons. After your first appointment, Dr. Sethi may decide to gather further information from other doctors that you have seen previously, as well as lab and imaging results. Dr. Sethi will be in liaison with your primary care doctor and any specialist you see in order to work as a team with them to optimize your care.
Dr. Sethi will meet with you for 30 minutes. He will review your progress to determine how effective the current treatment approach is. The efficacy of medications and any side effects will be carefully reviewed. He will also review other conjunctive therapies, such as psychotherapy. Follow up appointments will be based on the patient's situation. They can range from weekly to around every 3 months. Typically, they are monthly upon starting treatments.
At healthy Minds South Jersey, we do accept some health insurances like Oscar Health, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, United Healthcare, Oxford, and Aetna. You can call the office for more information to check if your particular insurance plan is covered or not.
Failure to cancel an appointment 24 hours in advance means that another patient loses the opportunity to fill in that time slot. Please note that if you fail to cancel 24 hours ahead of time and do not show up for your appointment, $100 will still be charged to your credit card.

Please call the practice several days ahead of the renewal date and leave your request on our voice mail (856-751-4116). Ordinarily, this will take 24-48 hours, so please do not leave your request for a refill at the last minute. If there is a change of pharmacy, make sure you make us aware of that in your message. Otherwise, your script may go to an older pharmacy on your record causing delays and confusion. Please do not move between different pharmacies frequently without good reason, as this may also cause unnecessary confusion.
